whoa....much needed update...

fuck yeah. 1000 hits. i am awesome. hope everyone had a great christmas and got some cool schwag. i know i did. today i dropped $200 at hmv. it felt great...cause it was all gift certs. i got the new thrice, both metric albums, the new darkness, mars volta live, an old modest mouse and a few movies. sweet huh? other then that, i haven't been up to shit, hence the lack of pictures. i just spend too much time on my ass playing video games. lazy is me.

At the Drive-in (atd-i) is hands down the best punk band of all time. I just finished listening to the El Gran Orgo ep and it blew my mind. I have had it for quite a while, and knew it kicked ass, but sometimes you just pick up a cd and listen to it again, and realize that it is just amazing. Go download some atd-i now. I reccomend: give it a name and fahrenheit(el gran orgo ep); initiation and ticklish(acrobatic tenemant lp); alpha centauri, chanbara and napoleon solo(in/casino/out lp): metronome arthritis, 300 MHz, and rascuache(Vaya ep); and arcarsenal,rolodex propaganda and cosmonaut(relationship of command lp). Whew...quite the list.

When Atd-i broke up, they split into the mars volta and sparta. Both bands are awesome, though the mars volta are more experimental while sparta is more your new school alt/punk. If you don't know of these bands either...go download some. Im too lazy to make another list so find it yourself.

yeah...sup. i am back from mountain crazy work. it fuggin sucked. i just got home today, after travelling for 25 hours with my retarded brothers. i was pretty much ready to shoot someone. i didnt. so dont worry, im not going to jail to enjoy bum sex...cuz thats gay...in the ass.

last night i stayed up super late and smoked weed. i put on my wicked headphones and proceeded to have one of the best highs i have had in a long time. i listened to death cab for cutie, jimmy eat world, deftones, matt good and broken social scene. its wierd the stuff you think about when you get baked by yourself. people dying, money, being a fuck up, how awesome the music you are listening to is, blah blah blah. maybe it doesn't sound that awesome, but it was.

so it turns out i do have to go back to work on monday. booo. whateva. i finished my christmas shopping for jess today. woot. i hate christmas shopping. people in stores all have this crazed look. freaks me out.

i have shitty sleep habits. im up all night, and i sleep till noon. i honestly never thought that would be a problem. but when its every fuggin week...it gets a little boring. its that whole no job thing. speaking of no job...i got my first ei check the other day. sweeeet. free money...from the government...fackers. but i might not get to collect free money for to much longer. i might be going back to work next week. aargh. too bad work is 1200km from here...and there is nothing but gross men and shitty food and social rejects and wierd, wierd man/chicks. and none stop FUCKING WORK! 12-14 hours a day 7 days a week. at least it pays well.
